6 Unexpected Skills I Learned From My Dance Business

I thought I knew what I would learn when I started my business.

Business skills that I needed to create and build.

Yes, I did develop those skills.

But what I've gained in way of skills regarding life, is so much more valuable!

#1 Recognizing thoughts that are harmful to my business and how to reframe my mindset, to grow.

My mindset awareness and strength I believe is my singular most valuable skill both personally and professionally. And this is the #1 skill I work on with all of my clients. 

#2 Increased self-confidence & no longer needing to compare myself to others because I recognize there is room for us all.

Letting go of Imposter Syndrome and enjoying seeing the success of others instead of worrying about what they have that I don't.

#3 Always able to find the answer, solve the problem and do the thing.

Just start searching. This is how I started my business. Asking a question, find the answer, implementing. Repeat. And now I apply this to every area of my life.

#4 How to develop and keep boundaries for myself to benefit everyone in my life, and my business.

Boundaries with my time, how I am communicated with and more! So much self-love is manifested with implementing boundaries and myself thanks me for it!

#5 Taking my fears and making them my strengths.

Learning that fears are a sign of some serious I am about to experience, and to embrace that. All the things I have feared now are super powers of mine.

#6 Trusting I will connect with those I am meant to serve, and some I am just meant to meet in passing.

Learning to detach from the outcome once I have put in the work, and manifested it into the universe. I am at peace when I hear "no's" and I embrace the "yes's". 

I enjoy seeing the newer version of me show up in all aspects of my life, all just from starting my dance business over 3 years ago.
